Hi Sruthi,

Marketing is a vast field. It would be great if you could kindly let us know the target audience and the other specific details regarding the program that you are conducting. It would help us to contribute better. Cheers...Ranjit

main target audience would be people from the marketing sector .. perhaps even students and faculty of management side would benefit.

Hi,

Gr8 to know that there is a forum on marketing. Am a marketing student and am really passionate about this field. My area of interest in marketing is Consumer Behaviour and Branding strategies.

Am interested in learning more about BOP and would be really grateful if you can elaborate on specific BOP strategies adopted by players whose mainstay was initially urban market.

One interesting topic on your list could be Catalog marketing ( which is not very prevalent in India unlike west) and the reasons why it is not widely used in India and whether there is any scope for it in Future.

Also building Brand Image using the Internet ( which has been mainly used for awareness building measures and promotions) can be a focus of discussion.

And since you are focussing on marketing costs and marketing budget I would ask you to focus on Return on Marketing Investment too. This measure is increasingly adopted for measuring marketing effectiveness.

This is only a suggestion. YOur list looks really interesting anyways :)).. When is ur seminar

love the flow of topics - starting with the consumer needs and moving to current technologies/ challenges.

Hi,

Great to know that there is forum on marketing....being in the field of sales i feel it would be better if there is a discussion on "Understanding impact of promotions and quantification". kindly inform us the event place and date in advance. Is it a separate forum or its part of CII.
