This comment is for all founders of start ups (incl myself)!!
Yesterday as I was crashing in from one meeting to another, I realised that for the second meeting I did not have the required PPT(about the company, what we do etc) handy. I just ignored the situation and went into the meeting. Much to my relief it was short, to the point and mostly business related. At the end of the meeting the technical and business head who were part of the meeting requested me to forward the company presentation as early as possible. I jokingly told them that they know all about the company as they have been in touch with me for the last one week.
The technology head's comment set me thinking: I guess your presentation helps us spread the word in our company in a more professional way.
Although it was a Sunday, i worked on our company presentation (it required major updates) and sent it acrosss to him.
In the process I realised something important: If I want to develop as a corporate there are some corporate habits that I have to incorporate.
A PPT about the company must speak clearly about the company, the founders, vision, products/services,market segments and other brief outlines about the company so that it prompts the reader to know more about us. It must be brief without being too sketcy.
